30th March Debrief - Pageys BOT's get owned!!

Well, what a mad session that one was!! Carnage how it should be!! I think we may have even filled the server right up as well... 10 v 10 equals mass destruction hey. Man those bots can shoot too!! With headshot turned on they can be dead set hackers capping you from miles away with a bloody luger!! WTF?!! lol... still good fun though and they got what was coming, mainy through the extensive use of Forgiven's air strike cannister!! Damn dude, i'm sure i saw your character run past with a belt full of them cannsters, slung across your shoulder's Rambo styles!! Lol, but man, it was sure doing the job and i've never seen so many kills in a round!! Lol!! Airstrike Spammer!! Heh heh...

Anyways, last night was one of those epic sessions leading up to the big Grudgey Finish and what a finish it was!! It ended with Dingo running home with his tail between his legs, yelping as a panzer round inserted itself fair up his arse!! With out lube!!!! LOL!! Now that, kids, is how not to call someone out!! Complete Ownage on a global scale and the only reason he actually did get a kill was because catchy stayed on the field instead of heading to the medic cabinet... But seriously Dingo, 5 - NIL? Mate were you paid off? Did you throw that one or what? Lol!! Tell you what though, after 3 minutes of watching you blokes wandering around, i was begining to wonder if anyone was going to get a frag, and then it was on... sort of.... well at least catchy showed up this time, and as they say Dingo, "thanks for making up the numbers mate" lol!!

Tell you what though, i really enjoy taking it to the bots and with most of us on Vent talking tactics, it was bloody awesome. I think we only lost one map hey, the Goldrush one. The rest we smashed em!! And damn, first time i've played that Caen map and she's a beauty!! That choke point at the bridge crossing is insane!! I got some video of it hey, it was airstrike after airstrike with Glenno's mortar landing everywhere (including on Fully's head... perfect Glenno... I'll help with your range more often!! LOL!!) and around 4 of us camped up on the guns picking off anyone who actually made it through the carnage... which wasn't many!! But they just keep on coming and when they break the lines it's every man for himself!! I know they're just bots but this is how ET is supposed to be played and games with 5 a side just don't hold it for me anymore. 10 v 10 is insane!! So much going on, it sorts the pretenders out thats for sure!! LOL ---------> Dingo!! LOL!!!!!

Anyways fellas, i hope you all add your little take to the action to this thread and add some photo's as well if you took em. I'll sticky a "How Too" guide for those that need it somewhere else in the forum as it's something that comes up fairly often. Anyways, was good fragging with ya in "Pagey's House of Pain" (Pffft!!! LOL!!) and bring on the next one!! Oh and nice work on the Bot names too Pagey... Although the porn start pagey bot's a bit of a one shot wonder.... is that what happened to your porn career? Lol.....

We need someone to do a call out nice and early, have something to look forward to a week out . . So you bitches, at least Dingoballs stepped up to the plate . . it's time a few of the regs who haven't had a grudgey to put their balls on the line . . *hint hint Honky and Toadbuster* what a match that would be . . or *Honky versus Fully* . . although my tip would be Honky in this one.

Awesome effort on the server and game play fellas, ya really starting to get all professional.

Also have to say on the website I have checked a few other *Clans* websites and they don't hold a candle to the quality of this one . . see Honky, I do give compliments now and then mate, and your site kicks a lot of other sites asses.

That grudgey was a classic...and funny as fuck too.

I went through the video that I caught and laughed like fuck when I was listening to all the comments being made, and all the laughter at points in the match...although I am a little disappointed that mdcnt didnt bounce the salty sac off dingo's tonsils hahaha. That would have capped the video off just nicely.

Heres the video...Ok before youall pick me up on the mistakes, I got MADCNTMERLINS name wrong and the score at the end as well....so dont rag on me for that lol.
After reviewing the original footage I think it ended up at MADCNTMERLIN - 5, DINGOBALLS - 1 and managed a suicide as well.

Video quality was reduced so I could host it on photobucket....but I think you get the idea...



Other than that the session was gold with a good turn out, and some really good form being shown by the boys. Marlinblade was busy on vent calling some strategic shots out for the boys who were in most part taking care of business. Stealling the tank on gold rush was no easy task with more than 7 bots standing in the spawn area at any time but the engineers (with a little help from Honky, who was camped in the corridor spraying MG lead at spawn point doorway) gate crashed their little party and stole the hardware from under them...good job Nutterz, Fully and whoever else had the spanner's out!!!!.

Skanky Crack Whore was totally pWning with his mortars on Cean....I could see Axis bodyparts all over the place through my binoculars as the bots tried to push through to the tank and repair it but it was raining mortors and arty....no way through that shit!!!. I kept hearing you call for ammo on vent but I was fucked if I could find you most of the time...heres a tip...V-2-2 will put the call for ammo out and place an icon on the mini map, I'll know exactly where you are next time and resupply you. Good job with the mortars mate.

Overall some really good games last night. The crew really kicked ass on most maps and I for one had a ball....cant wait to do it again. ET is an old game that has been outdated by the new flashy games, but after last night I think it still has a place here for the crew to meet up, dish out some carnage and have a bit of fun every now and then. Its a game we all know how to play...and it doesnt keep stats and shit so if you screw up...or get your ass handed to you it doesnt really matter that much.
But in saying all that...It'd be MAD if the crew did the same thing with a new game like TF2....I had my first session on that yesterday and it has the potential to be every bit as good...no wait...BETTER than ET for regular sessions for [PR] to do the same shit, and I think TF2 will quickly grow if we could arrange some playing time with E-Vader, BigGnats and everyone else...
Also been keepnig an eye on Battlefield Heroes and this looks OK and its FREE.



Maybe this could be the go for us as well....lets see what happens.

The program I used was Windows Movie Maker...chances are you already have it mate, comes standard with XP.

Easy to use with just enough features to make a decent little movie.

Thanks mate, i didn't ave it but i did some searching and downloaded it!! Looks good hey... good enough anyways and if i can make a movie as good as yours i'll be stoked!! Looking forward to capturing a few next sesh....

Ok fellas, it's pretty late and IMO a bit lame but it's my first try at setting up a vid so hopefully it works ok. Could take a while to load as it's around 3 mb. Thanks to Forgiven for pointing me in the right direction on Windows Movie Maker. Top little program and easy as to use... although with a bit more practice hopefully the vid will be a bit better lol!! Oh and sorry for the low quality but i had to sacrifice it a bit in order for it not to take 8 hours to load!! LOL!! Anyways.... everyone EXCEPT Dingo.....

Oh well at least you tried Dingo, admin is not as easy as it sounds hey.... Still with a bit of practise you'll get your head around it. Anyways apologies for not being there fellas, but i really didn't have much of a choice with that one. I've spent probably a grand total of 3 bloody hours over the last 2 weeks gaming and it's frustrating as fuck!! Too much on at work and too many people at home!! Bloody inlaws!!

Anyways the good news for me is that next week i'll be batching for a week while the missus gets a knee recon in perth. No choice but to stay home with this one (though i should probably be down there with her... ) due to fucking work!! But that'll give me a chance to get my game on and i can tell you i'll be keen to hit it hard!!
